JavaScript CSV import with mapping and validation
Use a standard web component to review CSV records before sending them through your existing application. No framework runtime or external API is required by the component.
Integration contract
import '/assets/importready/import-ready.js';
const importer = document.querySelector('import-ready');
importer.schema = [
{key:'email', type:'email', required:true, unique:true},
{key:'seats', type:'integer', min:1}
];
importer.addEventListener('importready:complete', ({detail}) => {
// Send through your authenticated client.
// Validate and authorize every record on your server.
saveCustomers(detail.records);
});Validation before import
Match normalized names or aliases, require fields, validate dates, numbers, booleans and allowed values, repair invalid cells and optionally skip duplicate records within the current file. Export JSON for typed values or CSV with spreadsheet-formula protection.
Scope you can evaluate
The demo is the actual component, limited to 100 rows. The licensed kit accepts up to 10,000 rows, 100 columns and 5 MB of valid UTF-8 CSV. It does not write to a database. CSV text is escaped before rendering. Source stays in memory; your own completion handler decides where records go.
